Hotel Information

All hotel reservations for AUVSI's Unmanned Systems North America 2010 must be done online through our official housing bureau, Visit Denver.  Click HERE to make, modify or cancel your hotel reservation.

Hotels are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.  Hotels will not accept reservations directly.  In order to take advantage of the AUVSI conference rate, you must be a registered attendee, exhibitor or speaker.  After Tuesday, 20 July 2010, hotel reservations will be accepted on a space available basis with no guarantee that the conference rates will apply.

HELP! Due to hotel policies, associations are now being held financially responsible for hotel rooms reserved but not actually occupied.  To save AUVSI from penalty fees, it is imperative that our exhibitors and attendees reserve hotel rooms realistically and cancel with as much notice as possible.  This gives the hotel the opportunity to resell the rooms. Canceling fewer than five business days in advance of your arrival does not allow ample time and often means AUVSI will be paying for your unoccupied hotel room in addition to the one night penalty you receive.

AUVSI Conference Hotels
Making your hotel reservation at one of the designated conference hotels saves you money and helps AUVSI.  Each room credited to AUVSI helps us build "buying power" to negotiate discounted rates in future years.

*Government Rate: A limited number of government rated rooms are available at the published 2010 federal per diem rate for U.S. government and active duty military conference participants who are traveling on government travel orders.  Failure to provide a copy of your travel orders upon check-in at the hotel will result in your reservation being honored at the current hotel room rate, known as the "rack rate" (which in most instances will be more than the AUVSI conference rate).

Please note:  Government contractors not traveling with government travel orders are not eligible for this rate.  Please do not reserve a government rated room if you do not meet the above criteria as this limits the opportunities of others to attend the conference.

What to Wear
Summer in Denver is glorious with blue skies, mild days, low humidity and little rainfall. The average temperature during the day is 86 degrees Fahrenheit (30 degrees Celsius). Evening temperatures are a bit cooler, so be sure to pack a sweater or light jacket. The attire for all events during the conference is business casual. Please be aware that convention center rooms vary in temperatures – for your comfort, we recommend keeping a sweater or jacket handy.

Military and civil servants are requested to be in uniform.  A uniform changing room will be available onsite. Uniformed personnel will have complimentary access to the exhibit hall on Friday, 27 August.
